October brings that feeling of fall, which always seems to activate my travel bug. This week check out my favorite accounts on social media focused on travel. Bonus: if you are searching for a fall-themed getaway, these social gurus have just the posts for you!

Condé Nast Traveler’s Twitter account is a great source for articles on worldwide travel without having to pay for their magazine subscription. With amazing photography as its companion, each article tells a vivid story of travel opportunities around the world.
Well-known for its excellent reputation and stellar advice, TripAdvisor is a must for the consummate traveler. This site has users rate aspects of their trip on a 1 – 5 basis, whether it’s restaurants, hotels, attractions or airlines. It’s a great place to get advice from the people who know best – other customers!

While also a worldwide site, Travel Channel does tend to focus more on US travel than the aforementioned Condé Nast Traveler. Travel Channel does a great job tying in themes to its posts and taking the reader on a virtual trip through a variety of amazing destinations.
